Sometimes we all lack motivation, energy and smile. It might be caused by long periods of bad weather, sickness, or any issues that just sucking out all good energy. What do you do when you do not feel yourself? Some of the issues might not be under your control, and simply you cannot sort them out right here and right now. I have to say that waiting can be exhausting. Check below what I do to feel better and find a new perspective.
Going somewhere new, somewhere I particularly like is one of the best ways for me to think of something else than the issue. New smells, views, food give time to distance yourself from the thing that is disrupting at the moment.
Also I like to travel before a new challenge. Get ready, relax, tech free for a few days and with fully recharged batteries start something new. New places, new people, new perspective.
Good, old fashioned scrubbing and rubbing with a sponge and brush. If you see me in a toilet furiously using Domestos and bleach, I probably had a bad day. This is one of the moments that you cannot hear your thoughts because music is so loud, and the only thought in your head is 'how to clean this two weeks old stain'.
Light candles, have your favourite movie in the background and invite friend over. Things said out loud do not seem as big as they were before. Especially if there is someone who can give a good advice or just listens to you. If you do not feel like talking, that is alright. Silence is also a good thing if that is what you need.
