Cheap & Fun Date Ideas

Cheap and Fun Date Ideas

Did you run out of ideas for dates? A big budget is not needed for the few date options I share below with you. I promise they will not ruin your bank account and be a lot of fun! One of the best dates I ever went on was not the one we spent the most money.

It was a lovely summers' day and we discovered that the place we wanted to grab a hot drink from was shut. Spontaneously my date suggested having lunch outside. We went to get sandwiches from his favourite place and sit together in my favourite spot in the Bon Accord Park in Aberdeen. We talked, laughed at me picking raisins out from my coronation chicken sandwich, watched dogs running around and tried to guess what dogs would say if they could talk. I am really glad that instead of being squeezed somewhere in the coffee shop corner, hunched over a cup of coffee, trying to hear what the other one was saying, we had a chance to really connect. I enjoyed the spontaneity of the date, being outdoors, having an opportunity to talk about everything and nothing within a nice, easygoing environment without breaking the bank. This date lead to many more.

    1. Hiking is also one of my favourite activities! It helps to get to know each other so much better, especially after a few hours of hike. It seems to me that then is when I have the most meaningful conversations.
