Bill's in Worcester

If you enjoy juicy burgers after a busy morning (Christmas shopping!), and as it happened that you are in Worcester, this post is for you. After a few long hours of Christmas shopping I was thinking of… Food (how surprising!). I stop by in Bill’s for a filling lunch with my companion (companion is such a formal word, isn’t it?).

It was my second time in Bill’s in Worcester but this time we sat inside. It was sunny outside but still freezing cold! So, hot chocolate while we wait for our food was an obvious choice (cozy warm feeling).

I was lucky to sit opposite the window so I could people watch and observe shoppers passing (some people say it is creepy but hey if not for that I would never see my ideal light blue coat).

I always pay attention to interior design. I like to sit in clean spaces with a relaxing atmosphere and Bill’s knows how to create one. They use blackboards to share their recommendations etc.

Moreover, Bill’s have way more space than you think at first. I could easily go there for food with a bigger group of friends. Seats further back are slightly cosier with lights that create an orange afterglow.

I decided to have the pan-fried salmon (£13.50), while my companion chose Bill’s burgers and chips (£9.95). I am going to admit that at first I was slightly unsure about the darkness of my salmon. However, after taking the skin off, the fish was still gorgeously pink. I have to say that I am glad I did not ordered chips as the portion size was slightly too big for me.

I have no idea why burgers always look so much more appealing in photos. I did not have a burger myself, however I noticed that they are not afraid to add decent sized tomato slices, salad, and pickles. The extra salad is what I really like; I am the one eating it most of the time (I am one of those people who love veggies, btw scientifically speaking tomato is a fruit)My salmon was very delicious and filling.

I unquestionably will be back as service is very polite and smiley, I did not feel rushed and I definitely will not leave this place hungry.

Have you had a chance to try food at Bill’s?
