Aromatherapy At Home - Ultrasonic Diffuser

One of my Aunties has always been someone I have looked up to when it comes to creating well balanced, sophisticated, yet very cosy interior designs. She knows how to change a house into a home. Gorgeous scents at home were one of her secrets helping creating an unforgettable atmosphere. If you have not considered aromatherapy yet keep reading and you will find out more about one of the easiest ways to make your home even more you.

One of the main memories of coming to my Auntie's home, either for pancakes as a child or home made wine (as a bit more grown up child), was the relaxing smell of sandalwood. It was not overpowering but easy to distinct at the instance I opened the front door.

Smells can elicit memories and moods due to conditional responses the brain links with objects, people, and situations. That would explain why I adore so much smell of mint (my mum would give it to me for tummy pain while comforting me), eucalyptus (perfect for sinuses' steam inhalation), cinnamon (the same Auntie used to make Christmas cinnamon cookies), and peonies (long, summer days at grandpa's garden).

Beautifully smelling home has been always my priority. As much as I appreciate the convenience of air refreshers, I wanted to start using more natural fragrances.  I was very lucky as Santa must have had a very good intuition. I found a beautifully packed gift, wrapped up in shiny, red paper, underneath the Christmas tree. I received the Scent Hub Ultrasonic Diffuser Flora by Amora.

Package included:

Small brush for cleaning

Booklet with instructions
Charger with EU and UK plugs

Flora has LED lights build in. They change colours from pure white to red. The best thing is that they do not have to be switch on every time the diffuser is working.

Main feature of this product is a fine silky mist created with added drops of oil. It helps gorgeous smells to fill room in a few minutes. Diffuser can be on constantly for 3 hours or for 6 in on and off intervals.

Amora says that Flora has overheating protection and has low energy consumption, I am unable to check this information. However, I can confirm and I am very glad that this model shuts off at low water level as I can be quite forgetful. If I could, I would have it on all the time!

If someone would ask me what 'zen design' looks like I would point at Flora. Perfect addition to my flat, just have a look at photos. I could not have picked a better design myself. Combination of wood and top cover for easy access to add more water or new oil reminds me of things that you are likely to find in a SPA. It is not one of these cheap plastic products, that despite working great are an eye sore hence are hidden behind a plant or books. I am happy to have it on my table as a main decoration.

Isn't it pretty? What smell would you like to have in your home?
