Bloggers Finish 'Love Is...' Sentence

Kim Casali
Every month I am asking bloggers to finish the sentence. This month, Valentines Day is almost here, I wanted to know what love is to them. Moreover bloggers agreed to share their photos (exciting!). I on the other side will share with you one of the best love cartoon series by Kim Casali, that used to appear in the newspapers my family was purchasing.

Jess Leeman

Love is loving yourself so that somebody can love you. Love is having a friend, partner, friendship which you can truly and solely rely on.

Angela

Love is marrying a single mother, becoming a step father and treating the child as your own.

Jihane

Love is good sense. It is what gives warmth to our hearts and strengthens all the relationships. Love is an energy, a power that can change you within a moment and provide you with and immense joy

Kathryn Morgan

Love is comfort and happiness. It is the comfort of knowing who you are and loving everything about yourself, including your imperfections, embracing all the things that make you happy and living to the max. Love is also finding comfort and happiness in family and friends around you.

Jessica Snook

Love is having someone accept you for being you.

Rachel Bee

Love is..... the butterflies in your tummy, the bubbling excitement, the heart swell of pride and happiness. I thought I knew love so well. I've loved a man for eight years, and to me he is everything. He makes me laugh, builds me up, supports me and loves me totally. But I now know a new kind of love. The feeling of knowing that no matter what you will love, protect and serve another no matter the stakes. A love so completely unconditional you don't even have to have met them yet to know it. That's the love for your child. A mothers love, and it is truly the most overwhelming kind of love you will ever feel.

  2. Interesting food for thought... it's always something I ask a mate before deciding if I love him back/sticking around.
For me love is... the acceptance of another being as your true equal. Their needs become your concern because they are a part of you now. Doesn't matter if it's a baby, a partner, a pet, or a family member.

  4. Whenever I see this quote I always think of the television show 'Once Upon a Time' where Regina's mum said 'Love is Weakness' but anyway I heard this quote a few years back and fell in love with it: "Love is when the other person's happiness is more important than your own". I don't know why but I really like it!

    1. I really like quotes, one of my fav is: If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, its yours forever. If it doesn’t, then it was never meant to be. – Unknown

  5. Love this post!Such a wonderful idea :-) For me love is... having no fear - the kind of love that makes you fearless, to be the person you're supposed to with a supportive partner/friend or family and not having to ever worry if the love is/will be returned x
