Hot Latino Nights, Aberdeen

Aberdeen is starting to feel salsa in a true Cuban style! Guess who is very happy? If you follow my Instagram you, do it if you don't for quick stories from any events I take part in. You would have a chance to hear gorgeous Spanish songs sang by Revolución de Cuba team.

Salsa, Latino music, pork belly skewers, mojitos… I am in! As I stepped into Revolución de Cuba I was instantly reminded of a hot summer 2015 and salsa nights in Boston.

Strawberry Daiquiris just disappeared! Do you know what I always appreciate when I order a drink? I appreciate when I do receive a cocktail rather than glass full of ice with barely any liquid in. I can confirm that Revolución de Cuba knows how to satisfy.

I was invited to take part in a press launch, which of course due to my passion for Cuba I could not resist. It turned out that everyone I knew went as a couple and since I was not aware I can take someone… I was all by myself and I did not want to be (as I was proofreading I did indeed hummed the tune too) so I decided to be a fifth wheel and join Julia and her crew.

What can you expect? I will tell you first what I did not expect. I did not expect an interior design that is right up my street.

It is incredible how recently Aberdeen started to have more and more venues that go for creative, eye catching interiors. I used to miss the attention to details but currently Aberdeen's interior game is getting stronger and stronger!

Perfect for chilling out with friends.

It is definitely a place where I will be able to unleash Latino part of my soul. Especially on Sunday night when cocktails are for £4.50. I already have a few that I want to try including Nuclear, Mad Hatter, Berry Big Mojito, and a mocktail Lavender Lemonade.

If you want to have your cocktail in one of the pineapple glasses order Totally Tropical Punch. You will not be disappointed! The service, decor, and atmosphere are as special as cocktails.

  2. Looks like you had a fun night, how was the tapas? I love the decor in there plus it's soooo big inside too. I was there on the Sunday and had the Naked Burrito which was really good as well as a Pineapple Daquiri to drink. It's not a cocktail that I would normally have chosen but I would definitely go for that again as it was really refreshing. xx
