Secret Santa 2016

Secret Santa Scottish British Blogger

When I was a child I loved taking part in Secret Santa at school. Usually gifts were amazing with a small few exceptions but this was to be expected. I cannot blame 10 year old boy that he did not know that a football gloves are not the best idea for a 10 year old girl. Eventually he just wanted to awake the football talent I could not see in myself.

This year I took part not in one but in three Secret Santa's exchange! I know that I am going slightly Christmas crazy and OTT but... This year I am in a particularly good festive mood. Fairy lights, decorations, gifts, Christmas tree, and all that jazz! I even bought a real Christmas wreath, that I proudly showed off on my Instagram (add me for more crazy lady photos).

First gift to arrive was from Jodie, who must have seen my post about the Body Shop as she was just spot on with the smells I love. Pink grapefruit is finally mine and it smells INCREDIBLE! She packed everything so well. You can see on image above how it looked when I opened it. Perfection!

We took part in Blogger Bees Christmas Secret Santa, please do follow them on Twitter for exciting chats with like minded bloggers. It is a perfect way to find new reads.

Surprisingly Jodie also found out of my love to truffles and Lindt. Sometimes it really surprise me how people get to know me through my social media and website! On top of everything I received Instaperfect latte glass, which of course I already had a few hot chocolates in. Pattern on the glass reflects fairy lights so well!

I must admit that I am really surprised how well Jodie's gift reflects what I enjoy. I would say that it is a better fit for me than some of the gifts from my friends over the years! Thank you so much Jodie for taking time to get to know me, please stay in touch!

  3. Wonderful Secret Santa gifts! I took part in a Secret Santa with the fountain pen group I'm in on Facebook. I sent my gift off a month ago and the deadline past last week, but I've not yet received my gift. I hope it arrives in the next few days!

    1. Oh no! What happened? One of my gifts arrived after Christmas but it was delivery company being very slow and not reliable what so ever!
