Those who have been following me for some time on my social media may already know where I am going to get married. I could not wait to spill the beans with you, more than a few times, during one of many fantastic bloggers’ chats. The community is just making me too comfortable not to share my happy news! 22
However if you are a new face you may not know but first of all, hello and thank you for visiting! Please tell me in the comments how did you find me and my little space on the Internet.
Since both of our families and friends are all over the world we decided that it is only fair to do it somewhere everyone has a chance to travel to. We also wanted somewhere that has a higher chance of a sunny wedding outdoors. Scotland is beautiful but it can really be a lottery.
My choice was Italy but my fiancé's heart was set on Poland. Hence here it comes officially from me. I am going to be married in Poland.
My stubborn fiancé did not take no for an answer. Ciao Italy
Beautiful scenery with a variety of fantastic venues that make picking the one very hard.
Cheap flights. I flew from Birmingham to Poznan for £8.99! Bargain!
The fact that I am bilingual really helps with the organisation.
Everyone who says 'Oh that's so cute he considered that'. Please, before you say or even think that this is 'cute' you must know that it was a trap that I fell into like a poor fly into cobweb. People say that females are cunning creatures, well those people have never spoken with a man who obviously does not want to plan a wedding. He is fine with supervising btw. The main excuse I hear all the time is 'I do not know the language, you research it'. Not so cute anymore, is it?
Plus I found this very eclectic villa that looks like it has been taken straight from the middle of Tuscany and dropped into Poland.
Poland has very heavy storms and lightening! Imagine how cool the photos will look if we are lucky to have one during the wedding.
Where would you like to get married?
