Little Joys | Poland

Little Joys UK Lifestyle Blog
Every day brings bigger or smaller joys. I have started to write them down as very often they happen and I feel like I am not acknowledging them enough. I decided to pay more attention to all of the little things that cheer me up throughout the day and share them here with you. Let me start with the ones from my trip to Poland because that is when I started to take note of them.

Warm pączki in Wrocław, when outdoors was minus 8 Celsius degrees.

Watching TV without having to think 'I have to finish my coursework by Monday'.

My favourite sour cucumber soup in Poznań.

Train journeys when I did not have any signal so I could read books quilt free that I am missing something important.

Gorgeous sunset in Warsaw, see it here

Trying to find as many gnomes around Wrocław as I can.

Seeing my friend for tea (Iga no milk please!) in Poznań just before she moved back to Edinburgh. Cannot wait to catch up with her in Scotland.

Finding great a make up artist, who will do my wedding make up. See the first attempt here!

Long baths with lavender sea salt, white wine, and a movie was a pleasure!

Befriending a dog called 'Buddy' in Wrocław in front of my AirBnb.

Finally getting rid of a pair of grey trainers that were hurting my feet! Yes I took them with me to Poland to have a 'think'.
Best Apple Coffee UK Lifestyle Blog
Having rhubarb crumble cake for breakfast with spicy apple latte.

Every single winter tea I had a chance to drink during my travels. I have to explore the art of making tea!

Each time I was wearing my warm gloves that kept me incredibly warm.

Seeing for the first time my wedding venue we picked and falling in love with it!

Finding out that Douglas in Warsaw is closing down and all products are up to 70% off! Bargain!

What little joys did you experience lately?

  3. Ha ha I always feel guilty when a shop is closing but also "Yay, bargains!" Polish rhubarb cake looks amazing! So glad your wedding plans are coming together! Little joys for me...feeling more self accepting thanks to body positive movement, but also motivated to exercise thanks to Pilates aches and pains! Meeting a doggy always cheers me up too! xo

  4. Mmmm the spicy apple latte looks so good! So does the Warsaw sunset. I've been to Warsaw once for two days so I didn't have much time to explore the city. Plus it was extremely foggy during my time there so I couldn't see much haha!

    1. Ooo that's very unlike Warsaw to be foggy. Next time you will capture more moments there for sure Sally! x
