On the seventeenth day of Christmas my true love sent to me… Banana Truly Nourishing Hair Mask from the Body Shop
How could I
say no to the delicious smell of bananas? I just could not, and that’s how with
no previous research I decided to treat myself to the Banana Truly Nourishing
hair mask from the Body Shop. Yes, I can admit that the first thing that
attracted me to get this product was the cheerful banana aroma.
Everything you need to know about the Banana Truly Nourishing Hair Mask
The Banana
Truly Nourishing hair mask is a mix of natural-origin ingredients with an extra
addition of banana puree. That is probably the secret to why the mask smells so
naturally and not chemically as I would expect from any other product that
claims to smell like a fruit//flower/plant. The ingredients were further enhanced
with Brazilian
cupuaçu. If you are like me and you do not know what cupuacu is check here.
From my quick research I can see that cupuacu butter is used in recent years
more and more in the beauty industry for its moisturising quality.
How do I
apply it? I go rogue and against the instructions. Although the mask does not
leave a lot of residue I still do not use it on my roots, and when I do I feel
that they are weighted down more than I would like. However, a few minutes on my
hair and the mask works perfectly to tame the tips and make them smooth, shiny,
and frizz free. Another thing? It makes my hair so soft to touch.
The banana
aroma is not very long lasting but for the results I am getting it can easily be
forgiven. It would be great if the Body Shop added to their banana line and
adds a hair mist to make sure that the smell can stay on your hair for a bit
longer.
If you need a product that helps to fight the fizz, this might be the product for you.

Definitely going to add this to my hair list, sounds like it works a treat and it smells like bananas! Winning combination in my opinion!

I think everyone around me would say lately that I smell like one big, yellow banana!
