Wandering Through The Streets | Vienna

Welcome to Vienna! The city of baroque streetscapes and imperial palaces!
Vienna was on top of my to-go list since I was a teen because of one of my teachers talking over and over again about how amazing it is and that if we ever go we must try Sachertorte.
I had no idea if it is worth the hype but it was just so close to Bratislava that I could not visit.
Walking through the streets from the Goldenes Quartier to Graben without missing Kärntner Strass of course, I felt that Vienna is a fairy-tale like urban jungle with stunning architecture to name a few Imperial Palace, Belvedere Palace Museum, and St. Stephen's Cathedral.
Of course there was also the time to try Sachertorte straight from the Café Sacher and a bite from Labstelle
Best of all is that Vienna is considered to be Europe’s cultural capital.
The sounds of music appeared to be coming from nowhere in the various corners of Vienna.
What a fabulous way to explore the city in the accompaniment of classical music.
Cosy wine taverns are tempting as much as rooftop bars. I have added to my list of places to visit Das Loft, Café Bar Bloom, and the Ritz Carlton Rooftop Bar. Is there a better way to look at the Vienna’s majestic architecture than from a rooftop bar with a cocktail in your hand?
Let’s not forget about the views from the Ferris wheel, Wiener Riesenrad.
Austria’s capital did not disappoint! I am counting days when we will be back.
As the sun dipped into the urban jungle the sky looked as if it’s on fire! What a perfect place for a weekend away.
What are your thoughts about Vienna?
