Little Joys | April

 Little Joys

As in past three months at the end of a month (well almost managed to do that at the end) I am sharing things that are so small that could go unnoticed yet they gave me a real joy.

We have found a wedding suit! And my husband to be looks so hot in it I am not sure I will be able to keep my hands off him. There is one issue… I cannot undo the bowtie so we might need help from someone without long nails to take it off at the end of the night.

Getting an A for the first part of my coursework for Global Management module. Yay! Did not expect that.

Finding out that my extended family will be welcoming a new baby this year. I cannot wait to have another cousin. I am refusing to be called ‘Auntie’ because technically he or she will be my cousin. I have a weird feeling it’s a boy, but maybe because all of my friends lately are having boys. I even suggested a name, Igor – sounds just right. Cannot wait to spoil the baby rotten!

Finalising all the paperwork required for the wedding, despite all obstacles, brought huge joy to me. I can wholeheartedly recommend Joanna from Skrivanek who helped us out with finding an interpreter at the very last minute (less than 24h!). Without her help the whole thing would have just end in disaster due to the wrong information from the registry office. Basically, we thought we did not need a certified interpreter to submit our documents. Moreover, the translated documents via a company in Aberdeen turned out to be invalid because of the interpreter’s mistakes. I could not believe it!

Surprisingly enough there were not any culinary fails, unless we are counting that time I thought I was adding poppy seeds to a lemon drizzle but it turned out to be chia seeds instead. It was still eatable.

Easter breakfast with my family is always a winner, especially when it ends with a ridiculous amount of caramel cake.

Additionally, I have been contacted by a few companies to take part in a few very exciting campaigns. I cannot wait to share more details with you! Let’s just say that summer is going to be very adventurous.

What little joys did you experience in April?
