Stronger Nails | Beauty Heroes 2017

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me… Eveline Diamond Hard and Shiny Nails

This product can be a little bit controversial because the nail treatment contains 2% formaldehyde, a known skin irritant. I would suggest to read more about this chemical before purchasing the product for example here, here, and here. It works for me but it might not work for you.

Everything you need to know about Eveline Diamond Hard and Shiny Nails

I started to use it a few years ago when my nails needed something that will help them to be harder and stronger. At the time I was working in a job that was not the best for keeping my nails long and shiny. Moreover years of biting my nails left them in a poor condition.

I have tried various nail conditioners with results that were very average. I continued my search to find the product that would finally let me have the nails I have always wanted long, almond shaped, and strong. I spotted Eveline Diamond Hard and Shiny Nails in a drugstore with its low price I had nothing to lose. I decided to try yet another nail treatment that promised to help my nails. Years later and I am still keep coming back for more.
This nail treatment delivers exactly what it promises: diamond hard and shiny nails. Moreover it helps me to get them to the length I am happy with. I also noticed that whilst using this product my nails are not as likely to break. This is a massive benefit for someone just like me who has struggled with weak nails for years.

The results did not come quickly. I did not see them in a day, two, or even a week. It took a month and a bit for me to finally notice that my nails are improving.

I stopped using this product as regularly since I discovered shellac nails however, I am using the nail therapy during the break from shellac. It helps me to make sure, despite buffering, that my nails stay in a decent condition. Of course if I am buffering my nails on a regular basis I cannot expect them to be as hard as they would be without buffering.

I just want to emphasise once more that this is not the product for everyone so please read more around the subject to make sure that you are aware of possible side effects. I have never had any, my mum never had any, but it does not mean that you will not experience them either. The internet is full of reviews, which are saying that the side effects can happen.

What are you using to keep your nails strong and healthy?

  1. Good to know about the formaldehyde, otherwise it sounds like a brilliant product! I need something to look after my nails a bit more xxx

    1. Hello Lucy, formaldehyde works well for my nails and I can really see the improvement but it's better to be on the safe side and read around the subject more. Also I think it's important to give that kind of information because at the end of the day everyone reacts differently and I wouldn't want to contribute towards someone's poor experience :) xxx
