Glamour Airbnb | Krakow, Poland

Let me tell you, this Airbnb in Krakow, Poland was something else! After the dreamy, Welsh cottage in England we decided to stayed in a studio flat that has quite different vibes. I was joking that the design must have been inspired by the Hollywood movie ‘The Wolf of the Wall Street’ or at least that was my first impression!

This studio flat is small but I did not feel the size at all. It’s really well designed,  the smart use of  mirrors and white doors with glass that separate living room from the bedroom area, creates the impression of more space. I must admit that I loved the use of massive sliding doors as a divider.  Mirrors were everywhere! Even on a ceiling above the shower.

There was something about this flat that I could easily imagine myself living there if I was single,  young, female, just starting a career. Very specific, I know but can you tell straight away that I have a soft spot for analysing target audiences?

The best part of this Airbnb in Krakow was the bath tub in the corner of a living room area, because who does not want to watch a movie whilst having a bubble bath? I definitely took advantage of that when weather outside was going crazy. It was quite a rainy weekend in Cracow. Actually there is a very famous Polish song 'Bracka' by Grzegorz Turnau with a phrase that was stuck in my head during the stay in Krakow:

'Cause in Kraków on Bracka Street it's raining
When the puzzle of existance force me to think
In the kitchen and in the corridor it is also raining
Glued to the wall I'm rolling up the wet carpets
Not wet because of rain but because of tears'

Located just a short stroll away from the main square, our Airbnb was in the perfect location. Far away from the crowds but close enough to walk back home after night out in the old town. Please remember that at night I was walking with my husband and we did not carry with us expensive items. Although I felt safe at the time I would recommend that you take Uber or taxi. I would recommend Uber as you will know how much roughly you will pay.

  3. I so prefer to stay in a house than a hotel. In England, I rent from the National Trust. I've never done Airbnb, but it sounds like you found a great place. Happy travels!

    1. That's interesting. How do you rent from the National Trust? I was not aware that you can do that.
